Happy Halloween everyone! I hope all of you have a safe
night, tonight! This week has been fairly interesting, because when I went on
exchanges this week, with another Elder in my district, we found an old mansion! Turns out it is the mansion of Howard W. Kelly, who was one of the founding fathers of John Hopkins Hospital. We happened to get a private tour of the whole thing! On the second floor, they have an art gallery in there and we were one of the first people to see this artwork! We talked
with the artist, Cindy Mehrs, about her paintings! It was super cool!
We were not able to teach Jordan last week, but we are
hoping to set up a time to meet with him this week. We did find two new
potentials this week, so things are steadily improving! We also had our Primary
Program yesterday, where all the little kids in the ward come and share their
simple testimonies of this church and sing some songs! It made me ponder and
reflect on how blessed we are to be able to share these amazing truths with
even the youth of our ward! I'm grateful for this opportunity to be able to
serve my Father in Heaven and to be able to share with others the joy and
happiness that comes from living a gospel orientated life. I hope you have a
great week!
They have dances and weddings in this room.
Porch pavillion with fountain.
The blue ring in the grass was actually a
natural spring swimming pool.
