He Blesses Us and He is Aware of Us!

Hello Everyone! This week was transfers. This was my first week with Elder Fisher.  He is from Boise, Idaho. He has been out for about 11 months now. We visited with the Hunter family this past week. They are excited for baptism! We will be teaching their daughter Annabelle and start working with her for baptism. We also saw William this week. He has been figuring out his concerns all on his own, which is super cool! We also picked up the Bush family to teach! They are a great family and their daughter Angela really wants to learn more about the Gospel. The Lord's hand has truly been manifest in this area. I know that He blesses us and that He is aware of us, as we follow Him and obey His commandments. I hope you have a great week!
*Mom Note:  Elder Ainsworth is missing everyone from home and trying to adjust to a new companion. If you have a moment, will you send him a quick email during this next week? I would love him to feel the love and support from home when he checks his email next Monday. Thank you!*  Austin.ainsworth@myldsmail.net

Elder Coumbs went home this past week!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hello Everyone!  I hope you have a Happy Valentine’s Day! We have had a crazy week of weather. It was 70 degree's last Wednesday!!! The next day it plummeted into the 20's and it was snowing. Sometimes I think that the Maryland weather is even crazier than Utah weather!
The work has been going great! Last Wednesday, I went on exchanges with Elder Coumbs, so the companionship was reunited! It was great to be back in Susquehanna for a day and to see old faces. While I was gone, Elder Nielsen set up the Hunter family with a baptismal date. They will be baptized on March 11th. Super exciting! They are super ready for baptism! It's great to teach them. We also had William come to church and he loved it. It has been super awesome to teach him.
We also had call outs last night. Elder Nielsen will be leaving the area! My new companion is Elder Fisher. Everyone has said that he is pretty cool, so we will have to see. I'm going to miss Elder Nielsen; a lot of really good things have been happening since we have served together. I'm not sure how I feel about leading out the area, since I have only been here for one transfer, but I'm hoping it goes well. There are a lot of goodbyes on a mission, more than I have ever thought. The Gospel gives me peace, though, through turbulent times. I know that the relationships I have made now will last through the eternities. There is never a final goodbye. I hope you have a great week!

As We Make Time For The Lord, The Lord Makes Time For Us!

Hello Everyone! This week was crazy with lots of stuff happening. First, we had some interesting snowfall that lasted for only about 20 minutes, but it was definitely an adventure to walk around in it. We were also able to go to the Washington D.C. Temple this week! I'm very grateful for the peace and comfort that comes from going to the temple.  I know that as we make time for the Lord, the Lord makes time for us.
We visited with the Hunter family this week and they are doing great! We taught them about how to gain a testimony and the plan of salvation. They are really praying and pondering over the messages that we give them and they even fasted for a baptismal date yesterday. William is doing swell! He is a kind person and is prayerfully feeling out the church. It's great to see his testimony grow. He is coming to church this Sunday!
Finally, I would like to leave you with my testimony this week.  I know with all my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. That He willingly, lovingly, and caringly took upon Himself the pains and afflictions of the world. I know that He lives and that He is real. He anxiously waits for us to call upon Him for help. He is the head of the Church, He guides and directs this work, and I am so grateful to be a part of it. I hope you have a great week!
