Watch Out For Bears and Crazy Drivers!

Here’s the news that you have been waiting for!!!! *Drum Roll*...........................I'm staying!!! Yep! I will have served in the Winters Run ward for 4 1/2 months. This will make a total of 9 months in Harford County. OH MAN! I have been here forever!!! Needless to say, I am 100% sure I will be transferred next transfer date, which should be May 10th. It will be exactly one year since I came out into the field. I can't believe I will be getting to that point soon. This whole mission thing is flying by way too fast!
Everything has been going well for our investigators. We have been finding lots and lots of potential people to teach. It's just been really tricky to try and set something up to see them. We have a lesson tonight with a family that came to church a few weeks ago, so that will great. Hopefully, we can start teaching them. Our progressing investigator is William. He is absolutely amazing! He is one of the most prepared people that I have seen who will come into the church. It's amazing to see his faith and testimony grow. He will be a wonderful member for the Winters Run ward.  We are hoping to work with more people by the end of this week!
With General Conference coming up, it's a great time to ponder and prepare for the revelation that the Lord would have us receive from His servants. I know that it is an inspired work and that these messages will bring peace, happiness, and hope into our lives, if we allow them to. I hope you continue to reach out and help those around you!  I hope you have a great week!!!!
Elder Worsham got a lego missionary!  It's kinda funny!

The Husky, Kanai!!!  Gosh, I love that dog!

Our vehicle coordinator sent us a letter with some information.
Plus, this funny meme! So that was kinda cool.

It Was Enough to Cause Armageddon!!! Seriously!

Hello Everyone! Things have been going really well for our investigators. We are still finding at least 2 new investigators every week, which means we have been teaching a lot of people lately! A highlight of teaching this past week is that William, our investigator, has agreed to be baptized on April 8th!!! WAAAHHHHOOOOOO!!!!! William is amazing! I have absolutely loved teaching him. Helping him through his struggles and seeing happiness and hope come into his life, has been a wonderful experience! I just hope I will be there to see it.  We are also planning on putting an older couple that we have been teaching for a date in April, as well.  It will be a really good month in April!
Last week, we had the first big snow of the winter season! I can't even believe that it happened. The previous week it was in the 70’s. We had about 6 inches of snow, but out east that was enough to cause Armageddon!!! Seriously! It was nuts to see everyone’s reaction to the snow, even though it was nothing compared to Utah!
We had a really great stake conference yesterday, as well. William attended it and he loved it! We had great talks on prayer and following the promptings received by the spirit. I also saw some old ward members from the Susquehanna Ward!!! It was great to talk to them and see how they were doing. That's about it for me, but I hope you have a great week!
I don't have a lot of pictures this week. Sorry!

This is pretty much all of the snow that we received.
Super crazy to think it happened this late in March!!!

There is Really Nothing Like It!

Hello Everyone!
I hope you had a good week! The baptism this week went really well. It was awesome to see the Hunter family being baptized together. There is really nothing like it. I also saw Elder Nielsen again, so that was fun! While the Hunters were being baptized, a MASSIVE spider somehow got into the font. This thing was huge! I don't have a picture of it, but all the kids were freaking out about it. The Hunters will be a great family in the ward.
We have also had a lot of miracles this week! We met with Jonathan and he is super humble right now. On two of the worst days of his life, as he puts it, we happened to show up. He is ready for the Gospel and its super cool! We also met another new family this week, the Prophet family! They came to church yesterday and really liked, so we are excited to start working with them. We have truly been blessed with finding so many people to teach!
Just as a heads up, transfers are in two weeks, so if your planning on sending me something, you have one more week to do it! Chances are that I will be leaving Winters Run. The church recently came out with a new video depicting Joseph Smith's First Vision and it’s really good! I have attached it to my email and hope you take time to watch it. I hope you have a great week!

Snow!  This doesn't happen too often.

I hurt my finger this week, while helping at the library.

"It All Clicks, It Just Makes Sense!"

Hello Everyone! I hope this week has been a good week for all of you. Things are going pretty well for me. We had a lot going on this past week. We had a zone conference where we learned more about our purpose and how to teach the plan of salvation more simply. The next day, we had interviews with President Christiansen! It was great to talk to him about the area and what we have been going through. It was good to talk to him!
After our interviews, we had an awesome lesson with one of our new investigators, Jodie.  She has been investigating the church, even though her situation isn't allowing her to come to church or really even talk to us, but she wants to learn! She read through half of the Book of Mormon on her own! We taught her the Plan of Salvation and during the lesson she began to cry. She said "It all clicks, it just makes sense!" I took this Gospel for granted. The truths that we have are precious and we are so blessed with the knowledge that we have. The Hunters are doing well and we are excited to see them baptized this Saturday. It will be a day to remember! William is also doing well and is still figuring out his concerns on his own. He is truly grateful for our visits and he is loving the ward so far.
Oh! We had a Zone Blitz this last Saturday and we went down into the Chesapeake area (which is in Baltimore County).  We visited with a lot of less actives and cleaned up the ward list. It was a lot of fun! Overall, it was a very busy and very wonderful week! I'm so grateful for the Gospel and the peace that it brings. I know that the plan of salvation is God's plan for all of us and that the hope that it brings is real! I'm so grateful for my Father in Heaven and the love that He has for all of us!
All of us having fun on Preparation Day.

I attempted to cook eggs again!

My favorite place in the world is open again! Rita's!!!

We Have Had Lots Of Miracles!

Hello Everyone!
Things have been going really well here with our investigators! We have met with William a lot this week. He is doing better and the concerns that he has, he has been resolving on his own! It's been super sweet! The Hunter family is doing great. Their daughter Annabelle has also agreed to get baptized. Super awesome! We have also met with tons of new people! Like, lots! We met this great family that wants to meet with us later. Sorry, but I don't have a last name for them yet. We also met with Teon. A super great guy who is interested in learning more. Jodie is a mom who on her own, has started to read the Book of Mormon! She is in Alma and has said that she feels peace as she reads. She is getting a lot of pushback from her family, but she is willing to learn more, so we are excited to continue to teach her.  As you can see, we have had lots of miracles! My favorite experience this week is just the fact that we have been able to find so many people! It's been awesome! I know that this Gospel is true and that those who are seeking the truth will find it. I hope you have a great week!
