This Truly Is The Gospel of Happiness!

Hello everyone! I hope this week has been great! Things have still been really slow over here. We have found a few potentials last week, but they haven't been home during the times that we have stopped by to visit them. We have 2 investigators that we are teaching here. Jordan, who is wanting to take things a little slower before he gets baptized (but he did come to church yesterday!!!!) and Patrick, who is a young father with some Word of Wisdom issues. We have taught Patrick almost all the lessons at this point and he is on the fence about joining the Catholic church or ours. The last time we went to visit him, he seemed super out of it. We are worried for him, so I hope everything is ok. We did an HQ referral; I believe it was last week? I don’t know, since time flies by super quick.  From the looks of it, he is Jewish.  Elder Dyer and his previous companion actually knocked on his door once. So, it's been interesting trying to see him.
We are still loving the car! We got the car from another set of missionaries and they used up a lot of the miles, so right now we can’t drive it that much until next month. Some fun things that have happened this week, is that we did service at an immigration center place.  We helped paint some stuff and organize things for them. We had some other missionaries with us, so it was pretty fun! I did lose my little key chain oil capsule. I think it fell out at that place, since I haven't been able to find it. Finally, I had a blast eating with the Wainwrights! They are such an awesome family!
I'm super grateful for this gospel. Yesterday, we were able to give our recent convert Tony, the Melchizedek Priesthood! I have really reflected on the blessings that have come into his family and the struggles that they have went through. I know this gospel can help us in our life, with handling the challenges that inevitably come. This truly is the gospel of happiness and I’m soooooo glad to be able to be with my family forever. I hope you have a great week!

A tree that is sorta near our place. It was super pretty!

A weird semi truck thing we found.

Pictures from Bro. Wainright, "And it was good.
Glad to be able to have these two young men in our home."

"The chocolate milk challenge with these two great men!
Stick the milk in the freezer till you get a crust around the top.
Insanely delicious!"

Happy Six Months!

Hello Everyone!
My time today is very limited, so I will keep this brief. We did get a new car! Finally! It's been super nice visiting areas that we haven't been to for a while. We even found some potential investigators! Jordan, the 14-year-old that we have been teaching lately, has accepted the invitation to be baptized. It's super cool! We also ran into a lady this week who practices witchcraft, so that was interesting.
I have been out on my mission for 6 months now! I guess I'm officially starting a sister's mission. ;) It's crazy how fast the time has flown by and I'm excited to see what else Heavenly Father has in store for me in the coming months. I hope you all have a great week!!!

I'm Staying Here!

Hello Everyone!!! I hope you have had a good week! This week was transfers, but I will not be leaving the Susquehanna area. I will be serving another 6 weeks here. I'm still with Elder Dyer and he was just made District Leader! All of my companions now have been District Leaders. The work has been more or less the same, but we are still trying to find more people to teach. Our only investigator is doing well! We are actually teaching him tomorrow. He is really interested. We are hoping to put him on date for baptism tomorrow!
On the bright side, we will be getting another car this week! We will be able to go visit the other towns now! I know that the Lord will bless us, as we look for people to teach and that our efforts are not wasted. I know this Gospel is true and that it has a real power to bless and heal the lives of others. I'm grateful for all of the support that I have received!!! I hope you have a great week!
The Wainwright's are awesome!!!! It was super fun to eat with them yesterday!

The leaves have JUST STARTED TO CHANGE.

I was on exchanges with some Elders over in the Winters Run area and they had bikes.
I borrowed an Elder's Bike. It was fun! Now I'm officially a missionary, I guess. Ha! Ha!

I just decorated our apartment with the stuff Aunt Tracie sent us!

Happy Times Are Ahead!

Hello Everyone! I hope that you have had a fantastic week! My week was good and was topped off perfectly with General Conference! It was super cool to hear from prophets and apostles in our day! The messages that they shared this time were centered around sharing the gospel and why we share it. In a sense, it was about missionary work! I loved the talks about the joy we receive from the gospel.  Also the comfort and hope that we receive, when have the knowledge of where we came from and where we are going.
I now know that by being a missionary, I'm truly a representative of Jesus Christ and that the message we share is of great importance to everyone! I feel a greater desire to share what has brought me comfort and hope in times of distress, as well as in times of happiness.
We have been trying to find more people to teach recently, but we are going to teach a progressing investigator, Jordan! He is 14 and truly has a desire to learn more, so it has been fun teaching him! I hope you have a great week and always remember that happy times are ahead!
That is a house close to our apartment, so it's fun.
I get to see that doll every day.

No, I did not try that really hot sauce.
I might try that hot sauce later, but I didn't feel like dying that day. Ha! Ha!

Elder Ainsworth says Rita's is one of his favorite places to eat.
He gave his mom a strong hint for gift cards!:)
